Download Clave

One app for your Mac, Apple Silicon or Intel, and an early build for Windows. No account, no sign-up: download it, open it, and start the agents you already use.

What it needs

Clave hosts your agents. It does not bring its own.

Install at least one agent command line and sign in to it the way its maker describes. Clave starts it in a tab; your account, your keys and your model stay between you and that provider.

  • Claude Code terminal or chat view
  • Codex CLI terminal or chat view
  • Antigravity CLI terminal
  • Pi terminal, macOS only for now

Staying current

Clave tells you when a new version is out.

The app checks its releases on GitHub. When a new version exists it says so, downloads it when you choose, and installs it the next time you quit. On a Mac, a setting opts you into pre-release builds; leave it off and you only ever get finished releases.

What it sends

One anonymous ping a day, and you can turn it off.

Clave has no account and no sign-in; your sessions, history and settings stay on your machine. Once a day it sends three fields, so we can count how many people use it. The identifier is a random one made on your machine. Turn it off in Settings, General, Privacy; the first launch offers the switch.

For your agents

One more line, and the agent knows its way around Clave.

The clave plugin gives an agent the skills that write a workspace file and bring lost sessions back. The MCP tools need nothing: every Claude Code session Clave starts is already connected.
